What I do for work

I’m a product designer who loves product strategy and visual design. I specialize in mobile design, but I’ve been known to spin up a website or two.

I mainly use Figma and Origami these days.

 

What I do for fun

I love watching movies. Lately I’ve been rewatching True Detective. Sometimes I draw cartoons and other times I kick back and enjoy an old Fleischer Studio short.

Product Design Lead, 2015 - 2016

I led product design at Wellframe, a Boston health-tech company that combines clinical programs, data science, and artificial intelligence to develop a powerful infrastructure for care delivery. My team built Wellframe's mobile and web dashboard products, which are used daily by at-risk patients and their care providers. Wellframe was acquired by HealthEdge in 2021.

I worked on the Google Play for Education team, focusing on streamlining content management and purchase flows used by different schools around the world.

Intrepid Pursuits
UI/UX Designer, 2013 - 2014

Designed mobile apps (iOS & Android) at a digital agency. Was part of the acquisition process of selling Timbre (our in-house concert app) to Seatwave, a British ticketing company which is now a part of Ticketmaster. Intrepid Pursuits was acquired by Accenture in 2017.

Innermost Labs
Co-Founder, 2012 - 2013

Co-founded an LLC with Sahar Massachi and Adam Hughes. Our company built mobile applications that tackled social justice issues. We successfully launched the Rootscamp 2012 app, which was used by 2500+ conference attendees in Washington D.C.

University of Toronto Masters of Information Program
Intern Manager: 2021, 2022, 2023

Partnering with Ken Alba (Product) to place University of Toronto Masters students with startups for 3 month engagements. During this time, the students work on a scoped feature that includes a competitive product audit, a detailed flowchart, a UX Research session, and final build-ready specs for an end-to-end feature.

Design instructor for CUNY TechWorks, a US Department of Labor federally funded initiative connecting underrepresented New Yorkers to opportunities in New York's tech sector through no-cost, applied skills education.
